Terms of Use
These Terms of Use apply to Pocket Margin Mosaic, an iOS app that lets freelance designers review project quotes on device before sending them. By installing or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
The service
Pocket Margin Mosaic provides a quote worksheet where you enter commercial assumptions—fee, work blocks and hours, direct costs, payment delay and follow-up hours, included revisions, and an hourly floor—and run a local calculation that shows effective hourly margin, whether that margin clears your floor, and how many additional revisions would cross the floor. You may save quote studies, compare alternate fees or revision allowances, and reopen saved studies when client scope changes.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of numbers and labels you enter and for how you use results in client communications. The app reflects your assumptions; it does not verify contracts, tax treatment, or client acceptance. Keep your device secure because quote studies stored locally may contain sensitive business details you entered.
Not professional advice
Outputs are deterministic arithmetic based on your inputs. The app does not provide tax, legal, accounting, or investment advice, does not guarantee profitability, and does not recommend a specific fee or revision policy. Consult qualified professionals for tax, legal, or contractual decisions.
Acceptable use
You may use the app for lawful personal or business quote planning. You may not attempt to reverse engineer the app in violation of applicable law, interfere with its normal operation, or use it in a way that infringes others’ rights.
Intellectual property
The app, its design, and associated materials are owned by Mirela Vasques or licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms do not grant you ownership of the app—only a limited right to use it as offered through the App Store and this product.
Local data and availability
Studies and preferences are stored on your device. We do not operate a cloud backup of your quote content as part of the described product. You are responsible for maintaining backups if you need recovery beyond what your device or Apple backup provides. Calculation availability depends on your device; the app is intended to work offline for core quote features.
Purchases and fees
Any price shown on the App Store for downloading or updating the app is disclosed by Apple at purchase time. The documented quote workbench does not describe separate in-app subscriptions, consumables, or account tiers inside the app interface. If Apple or the store listing presents optional paid items in the future, those flows will be shown in Apple’s purchase UI and may be subject to Apple’s terms.
Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that calculations will be error-free in every edge case, that results will match every real-world project, or that the app will meet every business requirement. You use calculated margins and revision thresholds at your own discretion.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Mirela Vasques is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost business opportunities arising from use of the app or reliance on its outputs. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for the app through the App Store in the twelve months before the claim, or zero if the app was obtained at no charge, unless mandatory consumer law in your country requires otherwise.
Changes and termination
We may update the app or these terms. Continued use after an updated effective date constitutes acceptance of revised terms where permitted by law. You may stop using the app at any time and delete local studies from within the app or by removing the app from your device.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without regard to conflict-of-law rules that would apply another jurisdiction’s laws, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence require otherwise.
